Glass Care & Composition

What's our glass made of?

  • Our glass is made from the construction waste, handcrafted using skillful & experienced glassblowing skills to ensure each piece is high quality. We take pride in our items and want our customers to experience the art.

Key Components:

  • Recycled Glass Cullet: The primary component of our glassware is recycled glass cullet sourced from post-consumer and post-industrial waste. This reduces the environmental impact by reusing existing materials.

  • Silica (Sand): Silica is a fundamental component in glass manufacturing, providing transparency and strength to the glass.

  • Soda Ash: Soda ash (sodium carbonate) is used to lower the melting point of the glass, making it easier to shape during the manufacturing process.

  • Limestone: Limestone helps stabilize the mixture and enhances the durability of the glass.

  • Alumina: Alumina is added to increase the strength and resistance of the glass.

How long can our jewelry last?

  • Our glass is made to last, but with all glass it depends on each customer's  wear.
To ensure the longevity and beauty of your CGRecycle glassware, follow these care guidelines:

  • Hand / Machine Wash: While our glassware is durable, we recommend hand washing to maintain the quality of the product but machine wash is no problem, we worked with big hotels and restaurants that wash this using the machine too. Use a mild detergent and a soft sponge or cloth.

  • Temperature Sensitivity: Allow glassware to cool gradually before exposure to extreme temperature changes, such as hot liquids or sudden cold.

  • Avoid Impact: Handle glassware with care and avoid impact, as excessive force may cause breakage.

  • Storage: Store glassware in a safe and secure place to prevent accidental damage.
